“The food stock is available, everything is still under control,” says the Minister on Thursday (9/5/2024).

He says that his party will continue to coordinate with related stakeholders to anticipate the food crisis in the dry season and maintain the food price in the market.

“For the price, we have two tons of supply in Bulog warehouse. In fact, currently the price is too cheap, but what is important is that distribution is still maintained," said the Minister of Trade.

On the other hand, the availability of MinkaKita in the market is still safe and regarding the increase of the highest retail price, his party has been talking with traders and the public.

“Regarding the price of MinyaKita, there is a 90-day relaxation and socialization has also been carried out. The availability of crude palm oil (CPO) in Lampung is rather slow, because the plantations are not large, there are only a few in Waykanan Regency, especially during the dry season," explained the Minister of Trade.

According to Zulkifli, to smoothen the production of cooking oil in Lampung Province, several companies will increase the supply of crude palm oil from other areas outside Lampung.
