Police Commissioner General Suntana, the Head of the Intelligence and Security Agency of the Indonesian National Police (INP), has reaffirmed his commitment to providing excellent service in the processing of the Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK). The commitment followed the release of the "Results of the 2023 SKCK Service Satisfaction Survey at the Polres Level" on Tuesday (12/12/2023). "The survey, conducted by the external party, Universitas Syiah Kuala's Center for Science Studies, aims to assess the performance of SKCK service units with the ultimate goal of providing better, more effective and efficient services based on the needs of the community," Chief Suntana said. The event was attended by senior officials from INP Headquarters, the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform and the Ombudsman as well as researchers from Universitas Syiah Kuala. The survey covered 16 units within the intelligence and security agencies in regional police offices in Aceh, North Sumatra, South Sulawesi, Riau, Riau Islands, Bengkulu, Jambi, West Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Bali, South Sulawesi  and East Sulawesi. Chief Suntana emphasized that the survey was in line with the policy direction of INP  Chief  General Listyo Sigit Prabow, to improve the public service towards a predictive, responsible, transparent and equitable police force. He expressed his hope that the survey results would serve as a benchmark for the success of SKCK services to the public and motivate improvements in the quality of public services in each police unit. The highest ranked units in the SKCK satisfaction survey were the Denpasar Sub-regional Police, Takalar Sub-regional Police and Cirebon Sub-regional Police. (ar/inp/pr/nm)
