inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will not force Civil State Apparatus (ASN) to move to the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), East Kalimantan, if they are not ready yet.

“The plan is in September, but seeing the situation here, we will force them to move,” says Jokowi on Wednesday (8/14/2024).

Jokowi also says that the ASN’s move plan will adapt to the situation at the field, such as the preparation of ASN flats. The movement can be delayed if the infrastructure are not ready yet.

According to the previous information, the IKN Authority (OIKN) reveals that the first wave of ASN moving to the city would be around September 2024.

The Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) stated that the transfer of ASN to IKN will be carried out in stages from this year to 2029 through three priorities.

The government prioritizes ASN who are adept in digital literacy to be moved to IKN.
