The investigators of Sikka Sub-regional Police state that they have examined the victim, witnesses, and suspect in the investigation of this case.

“Suspect admitted his immoral behavior and he did it with full consciousness,” said the Police Senior Inspector Susanto on Thursday (7/25/2024).

The victim’s family reported the case on Monday after they found that the girl was pregnant.

“We got the report last Monday. The initial chronology that we have gathered, the family reported the case after they found the girl is pregnant,” explains Susanto.

Currently suspect MP is being held by Sikka Sub-regional Police and will be charged with Article 81 or 82 of Law Number 17 of 2016 with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
