Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia returned triumphantly from the 2024 World Kempo Championship in Antalya, Turkey, held from 22-28 April 2024, with a total of 13 medals. 

Among these were two golds, four silvers, and seven bronzes, placing Indonesia fourth among 41 participating countries.

Despite fielding a smaller team of six athletes competing across 10 traditional and 11 fighting categories, Indonesia's performance was outstanding, according to Timbul Thomas Lubis, the Senior Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Kempo Federation (FKI), on Monday (29/4/2024).

Noteworthy victories included golds in the individual kata 16-18 category by M. Fajar Alkadafi and synchronized kata 16-18 by M. Adib Mubarak, M. Fajar Alkadafi, and M. Dafa Amanullah.

Facing tough competition from nations like Romania, Spain, and Portugal, Indonesia's achievement is commendable, as reported by antaranews.com.
