Indonesian Ambassador to Poland Anita Luhulima Passes Away at 57

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian Ambassador to Poland, Anita Lidya Luhulima, passed away in Jakarta on Saturday night at the age of 57, the Indonesian Embassy in Warsaw confirmed on Sunday (16/2/2025).

She was appointed by President Joko Widodo in December 2021 and had played a key role in strengthening Indonesia-Poland relations, particularly in trade, investment, and cultural diplomacy, according to antaranews.com.

Under her leadership, the embassy actively promoted Indonesian products at major events, including the Warsaw Food Expo, where it facilitated business opportunities for Indonesian companies. Ambassador Anita also spearheaded the Indonesia Cultural Weekend in 2024, showcasing the country’s rich heritage.

A career diplomat, she previously served as Secretary of the Directorate General for Multilateral Cooperation at Indonesia’s Foreign Ministry.
