Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo led a ceremony on Monday (29/7/2024) at the INP Headquarters in Jakarta, marking the promotion and tour of duty of 17 senior officers.
According to the INP Chief Assistant for Human Resources Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, key appointments include Inspector General Abdul Karim who replaced Commissioner General Syahardiantono as the INP Chief of Profession and Security (Propam).
In addition, the tour of duty involved regional chiefs in western part of Indonesia, namely Inspector General Suyudi Ario Seto took over the position of the Banten Regional Police from Inspector General Abdul Karim, Inspector General Whisnu Hermawan Februanto succeeded Commissioner General Agung Setya Imam Effendi as the North Sumatra Regional Police, Inspector General Hendro Padowo replaced Inspector Tomagogo Sihombing as the Bangka Belitung Regional Police, Inspector General Answer succeeded Inspector General Armed Wijaya as the Bengkulu Regional Police and Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto replaced Inspector Daniel Adityajaya as the North Kalimantan Regional Police.
The tour of duty also involved regional chiefs in eastern parts of the country, including Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto took over the Maluku Regional Police helm from Inspector General Lotharia Latif and Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya took over the highest position in the Bali Regional Police from the Inspector General Ida Bagus Kade Putra Narendra.
Former Central Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi has been promoted to Commissioner General and will assume a new role in the Ministry of Trade.
The ceremony also saw six other officers receive promotions from Senior Superintendent to Brigadier General, as reported by antaranews.com
