Inp.polri.go.id - Tanjungpinang. The Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Commissioner General Agus Andrianto. led his team to interact with residents of Penyengat Island in Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands Province, through a program called "Jumat Curhat", literally refers to Friday Express, aimed at fostering closer ties with the community and addressing their concerns. "Jumat Curhat is an INP program to get closer to the people and directly hear their grievances, criticisms, and suggestions regarding the security situation in their respective areas," he said on Friday (2/2/2024). "Hopefully, the concerns raised by the residents can be promptly addressed by the government, and we, from the police, fully support theĀ  development and the welfare of Penyengat Island residents," General Agus said. Following the "Jumat Curhat" activity, he distributed food aid packages to hundreds of Penyengat Island residents. Accompanied by the Riau Islands Police Chief Inspector General Yan Fitri Halimansyah, and Riau Islands Governor Ansar Ahmad, the Deputy Chief also provided a special cash assistance of Rp 100 million for the improvement of facilities on Penyengat Island.
