Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has reasserted its unwavering commitment to safeguarding the entirety of the Indonesian population, underscoring its dedication to fostering societal stability. These assertions were delivered by Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, the Head of Public Affairs of INP Public Relations Division, during his address at the discussion event themed 'INP and the Spirit of Independence Towards an Advanced Indonesia' held on Wednesday (9/8/23). "Ensuring a sense of security for every citizen, across economic, political, and expressive domains, stands as an overarching commitment of ours," he emphasized. He highlighted that INP's presence from its inception to the present has perpetuated essential values, such as modesty, credibility, firm leadership, and people-oriented yet compassionate approach. "Three former police generals, namely Police General (Ret.) Raden Said Soekanto Tjokrodiatmojo, Police General (Ret.) Raden Hoegeng Imam Santoso, and Commissioner General M. Jasin, have set an exemplary path for all members to champion the safeguarding of Indonesia's citizen," he said. He also outlined that Indonesia's 78th Independence Day celebrations this year will confront two pivotal agendas, namely the 2024 simultaneous general elections and the completion of national development policy objectives. "Beyond gearing up for the forthcoming democratic process, INP is concurrently ensuring a seamless flow of economic and investment activities, fostering an environment of comfort and progress, and propelling the nation's economic transformation towards an advanced state," he concluded.
