The Indonesian National Police (INP) has launched an investigation into the alleged data breach, which was believed to have been carried out by the hacker known as Bjorka, the Head of the Public Information Bureau of INP Public Relations Division Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan. Based on the investigation, Bjorka managed to gain unauthorized access to INP's data following the closure of the BreachForum.

"We are currently engaged in the investigation and taking the necessary time to ensure its effectiveness. The Criminal Investigation Agency, through the Cybercrime Directorate and other units, is actively involved in the investigation," he said on Monday (29/5/23).

He further elaborated that the investigation is being conducted in close collaboration with key entities, including the State Cyber and Cryptography Agency, the National Intelligence Agency, the Strategic Intelligence Agency, and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. In light of this collaborative effort, he urged the public to remain patient and await the conclusive results of the investigation.

"In this case, we refrain from making assumptions and instead focus on thorough investigation conducted by the Cybercrime (Directorate)," he concluded.
