inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and the Indonesian National Military (TNI) Commander, General Agus Subiyanto, agree to investigate the incident of shooting against police officers by TNI members in Way Kanan Regency, Lampung.

The two generals vowed to investigate the case thoroughly.

“I am sure the Chief of Lampung Regional Police and Lampung Military Command are currently working hand-in-hand in investigating the case, and I also do the same here with the TNI Commander. We are committed to look into this case and investigate it thoroughly to its roots,” says General Sigit on Tuesday (3/18/2025).

Sigit encourages all personnel to continue to work hard and ask the synergy and solidarity between the two Indonesian security forces to be maintained.

The shooting incident began when Way Kanan Sector Police Chief Lusiyanto and his two officers raided a cockfighting in Karang Manik village. Unfortunately, the three of them were shot by the TNI member who owned the cockfight.

The TNI member has been detained and now is behind the bars of Lampung Regional Military Command.
