The Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) guarantees that the logistic distributions across the province is safe and secured ahead the election day. “In Jakarta, we did not find any flaws in logistic distribution as the places are near to each other,” says the Head of Planning and Logistics Division of the DKI Jakarta KPU Nelvia Gustina, Thursday (1/2/2024). Nelvia instead highlights issues in several areas outside Jakarta where there are numerous KPU officers were exhausted and faced with difficulties in trekking the location which is quite far away. She compares that in Jakarta the election logistics distributions are quite convenient as the locations are near to each other and at most it would take two hours in distributing the logistics. For example, Jakarta KPU have communicated with the Water and Air Police to support their logistic distributions to Kepulauan Seribu. “As for Kepulauan Seribu, it seems we have to paid more attention to its distribution as we have to travel through water in moving the logistics,” said Nelvia. On the other hand, Jakarta KPU have set the setting packing of 2024 General Election logistics to be done on Monday February 5th, 2024 to adjust the fulfilment of needs of every polling stations before the awaited day.
