inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Provincial Government asked the Metro Jaya Regional Police Traffic Directorate to optimize the use of Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) in taking action against violations on the TransJakarta pathway.

Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, Syafrin Liputo conveys the appeal during an online meeting held by Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD) of DKI Jakarta on Thursday (9/12/2024).

Syafrin also conveyed that the effort would help neutralize the TransJakarta route from other vehicles besides the TransJakarta bus.

Furthermore, he also says that the monitoring on the TransJakarta route was initially done by Jakarta Transportation Department. However, currently the effort will be in collaboration with Metro Jaya Regional Police Traffic Directorate.

“In the future, we will further coordinate the effort so that the sterilization of the pathway can be optimized. We also continue carrying out our other efforts such as fixing traffic signs, entry blockade and others," concluded the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency
