inp.polri.go.id - Jambi. Jambi Regional Police held the first corn harvest on a one hectare agricultural land in Sei Gelam Village, Muaro Jambi Regency, on Wednesday (2/26/2025).

The corn harvest Activity was led directly by the Jambi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Rusdi Hartono, accompanied by his vice chief, Brigadier General Edi Mardianto and the main officials and personnel of the Jambi Regional Police.

Rusdi says that the harvest is the result of the corn plant program that they sowed several months ago.

“This activity showed our strong support for the Asta Cita program in realizing national food security,” says Rusdi.

Furthermore, Rusdi said that this corn harvest also showed Jambi Regional Police’s commitment in following the instruction to use productive land to increase national food production.

With the synergy between the Jambi Regional Police and related agencies, it is hoped that this corn harvest can bring benefits to the wider community in the province.
