“We want that in the future, the children of Papua must be developed thoroughly, so that they are not only smart, but also rich in knowledge and has valuable characters,” said President Jokowi when attending the 40th National Children Day (HAN) at Istora Papua Bangkit, Jayapura on Tuesday (7/23/2024).

According to him, the future of the state lies in the hands of the children, so it is natural that the government should prepare in developing their future to be smart and have quality characteristics.

Jokowi aims to push the children of Indonesia, including the children of Papua to continue learning, and never stop learning.

In the celebration of the 40th HAN at Istora Papua Bangkit, there are several activities for children to enjoy, including counting tops, colossal dances, playing as child police, drum bands and fashion shows performed by children in Papua.
