President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo is scheduled to award the Nugraha Sakanti honorary medals to seven units  of the Indonesian National Police (INP) during the Security Forces Assembly for the Inauguration of President and Vice President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka on Monday.

Nugraha Sakanti is an honor granted to police units for their significant contributions to the nation.

Inspector General Dedi Prestyo, the INP Chief Assistant of Human Resources confirmed on Friday (11/10/2024 that the honored units include the INP Criminal Investigation Agency, the INP Security Maintenance Agency, the INP Mobile Brigade Corps, the INP International Relations Division, the INP Traffic Corp, the INP Densus 88 Anti-terror Squad, and the INP Medical and Health Center (Pusdokkes).

"This honor reflects the dedication and hard work of our personnel in serving the nation," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

On Friday, the INP conducted a rehearsal at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters in Depok, West Java to prepare the upcoming inauguration ceremony, with 7,000 personnel participating under the leadership of senior police officials, including Commissioner General Verdianto Iskandar Bitticaca and Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo.
