inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Joko Widodo asked all Regional Heads to immediately improve the realization of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).

“I want to say thank you to all the governors, regents and mayors, who helped us to control inflation rate as our situation is much better than the other states. Last I checked, our inflation rate is at 2.13 percent from the previous 2.58 percent, which is very good,” said the President commonly called Jokowi on Tuesday (8/13/2024).

However, President Widodo reminds that the realization of APBD spending in regency/city level is still low, at 31 percent.

“But please maintain the people’s purchasing power, how? By realizing APBD, quickly, as our APBD spending in regency/city level is still at 31 percent, very low. The money flow in the regency is still low, and if it’s low, it means the purchasing power is low,” asked Jokowi.

Moreover, Jokowi also highlights that APBD spending in provinces are also low, although still better than the regency/city.

“We are doing better at the provincial level, which is 41 percent, but that is still low. Please review and push our APBD spending so that the money flow in the regions would be better,” said Jokowi.

Jokowi also notes that the realization of regency/city and provincial revenue are still low, at 38 and 49 percent respectively.

“Be careful, this kind of thing should be reviewed daily, the instruction should also be daily as it is linked to the people’s purchasing power,” concludes Jokowi.
