Riau Police Chief (Kapolda Riau) Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal, S.I.K., M.H., immediately gave important instructions to all Dumai Police personnel in his visit to the Dumai Police Headquarters, Thursday (10/3/22). Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal, S.I.K., M.H., immediately emphasized that the National Police Institution is a house for all Polri personnel. Like the owner who cares for their own house, the officers have to look after their institution, one of which is defending it. “How do we defend it? By performing well in our duty, so that people continue to trust us. Our presence must emit safety and security to everyone so that everything goes well," said Kapolda Riau. Furthermore, Kapolda Riau said that the institution is like the second mother for all members of the police force. By having that kind of mindset, the officers will strive to make their institution proud. “We have to make our mother, our institution, proud and happy. For that, what we have to do is to work well and professionally, we must protect the dignity of the police. Wherever we work, we must adhere to the SOP (standard operating procedure),” Kapolda Riau said. In addition to maintaining the integrity of the National Police Institution internally, he also urged the members to establish harmony and chemistry with the TNI. “Work together to provide the best service for the community. The personnel must be able to implement our vision, precise police. Amplified the ability to read the situation, responsibility for public services, and fair transparency,” adds Kapolda Riau. He advised that the personnel have to strive in achieving achievements in their respective field of duty, and always protect the credibility of the Police. “You have to be able to maintain security and order in your area, by cooperating with community leaders, religious leaders, and traditional leaders. Good luck on your duty, together we are strong," concluded Kapolda Riau. The Dumai Police Chief, AKBP Muhammad Kholid, S.I.K., said he would follow the instructions as requested by Inspector General Iqbal. "Guidance, instructions, and directions from the Kapolda have fueled our motivation to strive in improving our performance, and we will carry out these instructions with full responsibility as a Precise Police," said the Dumai Police Chief.
