Inp.polri.go.id - Timika. The Village Head of Modusit fell victim to the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Bintang Mountain Regency, Papua Mountains Province, on Monday.
Superintendent Bayu Suseno, the Head of Public Relations for the Damai Cartenz Task Force 2024, revealed on Tuesday (9/4/2024) that the victim, Timo Kasipmabin, 45 years old, served both as the Village Head of Modusit and in the Police Civil Service Unit.
The KKB, led by Ananias Ati Mimin, allegedly targeted the victim, suspecting collaboration with security forces to combat KKB members in 2024.
Chief Bayu condemned the KKB's actions, denouncing their habit of fabricating accusations.
Security forces, including the Indonesian Military and the Indonesian National Police (INP), heightened vigilance in Bintang Mountains regency.
The Damai Cartenz Task Force extended condolences and vowed to pursue justice by thoroughly investigating and arresting the perpetrators.
