Police Question KPK Gratification Director in Alleged Extortion Case

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Joint investigators from Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police and the Corruption Crimes Directorate at INP's Criminal Investigation Agency are currently questioning Herda Helmijaya, Director of Gratification and Public Services at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). This inquiry is part of the ongoing investigation into the alleged extortion case involving former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo by KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri, confirmed Police Senior Superintendent Arief Adiharsa, Vice Director of Corruption Crimes Directorate, on Wednesday (15/11/23). As of now, joint investigators have questioned 86 witnesses and 8 experts in the alleged extortion case by the KPK leadership against the former Agriculture Minister. Key figures related to the case have been summoned and questioned, including former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo, SYL's driver and aide, KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri, KPK's Director of Reporting Services and Public Complaints Tomi Murtomo, KPK Chairman's aide Kevin Egananta, Chief of Semarang Sub-Regional Large City Police, Tirta Juwana Darmadji, Deputy Chairman of the KPK for the 2007-2011 period Mochammad Jasin, and Deputy Chairman of the KPK for the 2015-2019 period Saut Situmorang.
