Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The General Election Commission (KPU) has passed the national vote recapitulation of 34 from 38 provinces in Indonesia at the 20th days of plenary session. The announcement was sounded on Tuesday (3/19/2024) early morning. The Chairman of KPU Hasyim Asy’ari says there are four provinces left that need to be recapped in national level, which are West Java, Papua, Papua Mountains, and Maluku. “We are ending this session. We still got West Java, Papua, Papua Mountains, and Maluku. If God wills it, we can soon finish it,” said Hasyim after recapitulating Southwest Papua. According to the plenary session of national vote recapitulation result on Monday (3/18/2024), the presidential and vice-presidential candidate of Prabowo-Gibran leads the presidential election with 427,871 votes from 128 regions. Then followed by Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with 125,110 votes and lastly Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD with the 118,385 votes. According to the KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the national vote recapitulation is scheduled to begin from February 15th to March 20th. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
