Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. Papua Regional Police Chief Brigadier General Patrige Rudolf Renwarin emphasized the importance of local leadership support in maintaining security stability in Papua. 

Speaking on Saturday (7/9/2024), he said that the cooperation of regional leadership (muspida) is essential for ensuring peace in the region.

"We hope the synergy we have built will continue to strengthen in the future," ChiefPatrige said, as quoted by antaranews.com. 

Acknowledging the challenges ahead, he was confident that with hard work and commitment from all stakeholders, Papua can be transformed into a land of peace.

Chief Patrige further explained that all parties share the responsibility of creating a peaceful and safe Papua. The cooperation between the police and local administration, he noted, serves as a strong foundation for maintaining security in the province.

Chief Patrige also highlighted his efforts to halt ongoing conflicts, continuing the work of his predecessor, Commissioner General Mathius D. Fakhiri. He assured that the police will collaborate with relevant agencies to ensure a safe and secure environment, particularly as the 2024 regional elections approach.
