Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) Sakti Wahyu Trenggono officially inaugurates Ex Banten Regional Police Chief, Police Commissioner General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho as Secretary General of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and expects Rudy to monitor blue economy program. “Good luck on your work as we have priority program of blue economy that has to be optimized for the sustainability of ecology and people’s prosperity,” says KKP Minister, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono in his written statement on Monday (12/11/2023). Commissioner General Rudy Heriyanto Adi has served as Banten Regional Police Chief since 2020. The man born in 1968 has also served as Indonesian National Police (INP) Law Division Chief, Chief of General Criminal Investigation of INP Criminal Investigation Unit, and West Jakarta Metro Sub-regional Police Chief. The three-star Police General have also acquired his law professor degree from Lampung University (Unila) and also the non-permanent lecturer at that university. Rudy have also been inaugurated as a Professor in the Field of Police Mediation Science. Minister Trenggono also adds that Rudy has an important role and strategic in KKP organization. For that reason, Minister Trenggono expects the new secretary general to be able to quickly adapt and build a solid team work. “A secretary general has to able to coordinate, unite, and accelerate all policies and programs both in intern or intersectoral while carrying out their ministry duties,” says Minister Trenggono in expectation.
