The Minister of Communication and Digital ensures the stability and quality of telecommunications networks, especially on main transportation routes which are predicted to experience a surge in user traffic.

“We are also coordinating with telecommunications operators to ensure that all cellular networks, internet, and data communications are secure. We also monitor the use of the radio frequency spectrum, especially in areas that are predicted to be crowded, so that there is no disruption that could hinder people's travel or communication," explained Meutya on Tuesday (12/10/2024).

To optimize the telecommunications sector and information management, the Ministry of Communication and Digital has collaborated with the Ministry of Transportation to ensure smooth transportation during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

In addition, the Ministry of Communication and Digital has also prepared a digital channel https://s.id/mudikpedia for the public to access in finding various information needed for traveling during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Available on the channel are map applications and online transportation to the emergency contact information needed. It is hoped that this can provide comfort and convenience for the public.

"We also invite the public to be aware of hoax news that may appear ahead of Christmas and New Year which can trigger problems," concluded Meutya.
