Chief of PR and Press Division of Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Argo Yuwono, confirms that the said video that stated riot during the demonstration today is a hoax or fake information. "The video is a hoax. The fact that the video was from an old demonstration during rejection of Omnibus Law of Work Creation Law in Jakarta on October 8, 2020", Argo said to the journalists in Jakarta on Saturday (24/7/2021). Argo appeals to the public not to believe in fake information made by an irresponsible person quickly. "People, please do not get deceived by the hoax. Filter it before sharing it", Argo said. According to Argo, until now, the public security and order situation is still safe, peaceful, and conducive. There are no demonstrations today. "Situation is safe and conducive. No significant disturbance", Argo concluded.
