inp.polri.go.id - The Riau Police received numerous task support equipment from the National Police Headquarters. The equipment includes patrol motorbikes, the equipment of SAR, Dalmas ropes, and automatic strapping guns.The tools were directly distributed by the Riau Police Chief, Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal, to the related work units, Monday (5/9/22). The Riau Police Chief stated that the Riau Police Logistics Bureau in July and August 2022, had received the distribution of procurement goods from the National Police Slog program for the 2022 State Budget Program. The procurement consists of 26 units of patrol motorbikes and their accessories, 25 SAR full equipment, 75 units of Dalmas ropes, 75 units of Dalmas Light Fire Extinguishers (APAR), and 25 units of automatic strapping guns. "For the equipment of SAR, the personnel have been trainined in using it during the National Police Slog on August 9 and 10, 2022, which was attended by personnel from the Logistics Bureau of the Riau Police and the Ditsamapta of the Riau Police," explained the Riau Police Chief. Dalmas ropes, Dalmas fire extinguishers, and automatic strapping guns were also very much needed by the Riau Police, especially by Sabhara personnel in supporting their duty. As for patrol motorbikes, they will be distributed to Bhayangkara Security Unit in the Riau Regional Police unit who do not yet have patrol vehicles. This was as an effort to improve the quality of their community services, for the realization of a professional, modern, and reliable Riau Police. "I hope that in Fiscal Year 2022, all Work Unit Chiefs are able to utilize the budget on time according to the activities carried out, in a transparent and accountable manner, so that it can be used properly as needed," said the Riau Police Chief. The Riau Police Chief explained that the equipment that had been received should be maintained and cared for properly. He requested that regular use training be carried out. "All existing equipment, both office machine tools, operational transportation equipment, weapons equipment, sensing equipment, forensic equipment, telecommunications equipment and information technology, and other police equipment, must also be optimized for effective and efficient use in order to support our duty in Riau," explained the Riau Police Chief. The Riau Police Chief hopes that all Riau Police personnel will always improve the quality of their service by utilizing all of the unit's resources.
