inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. Chief of West Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Suntana, asked the public to stay away from crowds and not to set off fireworks on New Year's Eve. Because currently, the West Java region is in a conducive condition, it must be maintained until the New Year. "Anticipating the New Year, we remind you once again to avoid crowds, no track-tracks (races), fireworks and others," he explained. Police Inspector General Suntana asked the public not to go outside the home if there were no critical and emergency activities. Instead, people can reflect by praying at home. "Once again, we celebrate the New Year by praying that next year we will have a better life," said the Chief of Regional Police. Regarding areas that can disrupt order and security, the Chief of Regional Police said, 27 cities/districts in West Java have the potential for disturbances to security and social order. For this reason, the Chief of Regional Police admitted that he had instructed members from the Sector Police to the Departemental Police to be vigilant at all times. "As I have said many times, all regions have the potential for vulnerability (to disturbances of security and social order), respectively. Based on that, we place personnel according to the vulnerability analysis, all of which receive a portion, and we must prioritize the handling," explained the Chief of Regional Police. Police Inspector General Suntana added, looking at Christmas security yesterday, there were no security disturbances during Christmas. It must be ensured that the condition lasts until the New Year. "Christmas activities in the ranks of West Java Province, including Bogor, are in a conducive condition, and the Christian community can worship solemnly," explained the Chief of Regional Police.
