Ngawi Police Sends Aids to the Communitty Affected by the Flash Flood

inp.polri.go.id -  The Ngawi Police have sent hundreds of provisions for the victims of the flash flood disaster in Taskmadu Trenggalek. In gathering the provisions, the Ngawi Police Chief, AKBP Dwiasi wiyatputera, ordered his members and staff to collect suitable clothing, food and drinks, and items that could be used to help the community. The flash flood event which caused severe damage to community’s property and settlements became the concern of the Trenggalek regional government as well as the Ngawi Police. "We are gathered the provisions in the Ngawi Police and we will distribute it to Tasikmadu Village who felt the worst impact of the flash floods," he explained, Saturday (15/10/22) He adds that this is part of their responsibility in helping the others. Moreover, the humanitarian program is part of the National Police's program in responding to natural disasters. It is hoped that the aids could help the people in overcoming their difficult times. “The provisions that we have gathered are 171 boxes of instant noodles, 870 kg of rice, 11 sacks of clothes, three cartos of children clothes, 24 cartons of snacks and breads, 25 cartons of soft drinks, 3.5 cartons of Roma Kelapa biscuits and Rinso and sanitary napkins," he said in his closing statement.
