Inp.polri.go.id - North Penajam Paser. The North Penajam Paser Sub-regional Police, East Kalimantan, have deployed officers from Sepaku Police Office to secure and manage traffic flow as the new capital city, Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN), opens for public visits.
"We’ve instructed Sepaku Police to station personnel near the IKN area," said North Penajam Paser Police Chief Superintendent Supriyanto on Monday (16/9/2024).
Officers are tasked with managing traffic on Sepaku’s main road, anticipating congestion due to increased visitors.Public visits to IKN are allowed daily from 9 am to 5 pm, limited to 300 people per day, with prior registration through the IKNOW app.
"Traffic units are also on standby to handle congestion, especially near Pasar Rebo in Sukaraja," added Sepaku Police Chief First Inspector Syarifuddin,, as quoted by antaranews.com.
