Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. Personnel from the Papua Mobile Brigade (Brimob) unit, deployed as Operational Police Assistance (BKO) under the Papua Regional Police, conducted a combat patrol in Serambakon District on Friday.
The patrol aimed to enhance security measures and preempt potential security disturbances in the area. Brimob personnel conducted intensive sweeps in strategic areas and established security posts to ensure controlled situations.
This initiative is part of the police's efforts to provide protection and a sense of security to the community while maintaining stability in Papua.
Superintendent Dr. Bayu Suseno, the Public Relations Officer for the Damai Cartenz 2024 Task Force, highlighted the importance of remaining vigilant to ensure safety while maintaining a peaceful environment.
"Ensure safety and stay vigilant in safeguarding our beloved nation's integrity and extend greetings to the community residing around Serambakon to foster positive emotional ties between the police and the people," he said on Sunday (25/2/2024).
