Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. The Papua Regional Police continued their patrols across Papua to uphold security and deter street crimes on Monday (29/4/2024).
Senior Superintendent Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, the Papua Police Chief of Public Relations, highlighted that these patrols targeted areas prone to criminal activities, especially during the night.
The patrols serve as measures to prevent crimes like theft and illegal racing, he said.
By increasing the frequency of these patrols, the aim was to minimize disruptions to public order and thwart various criminal activities to ensure citizens' safety and comfort in their daily activities
Chief Benny called on anyone needing assistance or information to contact the nearest police station or reporting to police posts nearby is encouraged to prompt preventive actions.
