inp.polri.go.id – The Obedience Operation 2022, held by the Traffic Corps (Korlantas), began to be enforced in Jakarta, Polda of Metro Jaya, on Monday (13/6/22). The operation, which aims to turns people to be more obedience in obeying the traffic law, will be carried out for the next 14 days, from 13 June to 26 June. The Chief Ops of Korlantas, Commissioner Eddy Djunaedi S.I.K., previously said that the police would not issue a manual ticket to drivers who violate the rules. In Operation Obedience 2022, ticketing sanctions are only applied through Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE). Meanwhile, officers in the field will only reprimand the violators. "The law is enforced in two ways, namely by ticketing, either with static or mobile electronics, and by taking reprimands," explained the Chief Ops of Korlantas. "So there will be no manual ticketing," he continued.
