Police Senior Superintendent Ade Safri Simanjuntak, the Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police, confirmed on Monday (12/11/23) about the the investigators examination of two experts in connection with the extortion case involving former agriculture minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo , with the examination commencing at 10 am. "The examination of these two experts is set to take place in the interrogation room of the Corruption Crimes Directorate of the INP's Criminal Investigation Agency," he said, referring to the Indonesian National Police. However, Director Ade Safri did not disclose the specific field of expertise of the witnesses undergoing examination. Metro Jaya Police investigators have named a suspect with the initials FB, referring to the suspended chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri. Nevertheless, no decision has been made regarding the suspect's detention.
