The Director of General Crimes at the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Board, Police Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, explained that the Police are currently trying to investigate the case to find out whether or not there are other suspects in the alleged blasphemy case by the Leader of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, Panji Gumilang. "In the next few days we will investigate whether there are other suspects," said Police Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo, quoted from PikiranRakyat.com, Saturday (5/8/23). The police did not rule out the possibility of finding new facts along with the ongoing investigation process. "In principle, our progress has searched, we will analyze it later," he explained further. Police Brigadier General Djuhandhani added that the INP also plans to investigate other alleged crimes committed by Panji Gumilang, apart from the alleged crime of money laundering (TPPU). "We will make the investigation materials again, whether there were other crimes like what was conveyed yesterday. Are there any allegations of criminal acts of fraud and embezzlement," he concluded.
