inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Directorate of Corruption Criminal Investigation of Indonesian National Police (INP) searched the former employee of Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) house in Bogor following an extortion and gratification case that involves him.
The Head of INP Public Information, Senior Superintendent Erdi A Chaniago says that the search was for the investigation purpose to find the evidence related to the extortion and gratification against the AOBI company director, totalling 3.49 billion IDR, from 2023 to 2021.
From the search, police seized seven pieces of evidence which are letters, documents, data and other items linked to the case.
Previously, the Director of Corruption Criminal Investigation of INP has named the former BPOM employee with the initials of SD to be the suspect of extortion and gratification case after extorting AOBI company director for 3.49 billion IDR.
“The extortion and gratification to SD by FK was done numerous times due to repeated requests from SD,” explains Arief in his written statement on Monday (8/12/2024).
Arief says the identification of SD as suspect is based on investigation results, sufficient evidence, and open case statement on June 24th, 2024.
Investigators had also confiscated the evidence of 1.3 billion IDR and 65 other documents.
