Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo will be working from the new capital, Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) in East Kalimantan, for 40 days from 10 September to 19 October 2024, according to Presidential Secretariat Chief Heru Budi Hartono. 

“The President plans to work there until 19 October. He will also conduct official trips from IKN during this period,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

During this time, President Jokowi will hold meetings with officials at IKN to discuss key government matters and embark on official visits to other regions, with IKN serving as his base of operations.

“This is part of the government’s commitment to the new capital’s progress and the transition of government functions,” Heru added.
