inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Head of the Presidential Communications Office, Hasan Nasbi said the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) is improving the standard operating procedures (SOP) for implementing Free Nutritious Meals (MBG)  to prevent food poisoning cases, such as in Sukoharjo, from recurring.

Hasan says that following the food poisoning incident in Sukoharjo, the food sample was immediately taken for examination to identify the cause.

“So let us not jump to the conclusion immediately as there are only 40 cases and have been handled excellently. They all have also recovered as we continue improving the SOP,” says Hasan on Friday (1/17/2025).

He said BGN will evaluate the level of cleanliness, the level of hygiene can be improved so that children are safe.

"They like the food, and from the hygiene side it is also maintained," said Head Hasan.

Head Hasan said that each Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) serves at least 3,000 to 4,000 children. In Sukoharjo, SPPG only serves around 2,000 students.

On the other hand, based on the initial investigation of the food poisoning in Sukoharjo, continued Hasan, is due to technical errors. Following the incident, the food was immediately withdrawn, then replaced with a new menu.
