inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. Supporting the Food Security goal of Asta Cita Program, Pringsewu Sub-regional Police is managing the unused land of 3.6 hectares around the HQ.
This step is in line with the direction of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in realizing strong and sustainable food security.
Head of Public Relations of Pringsewu Police, Police Senior Inspector Priyono, said that the land is currently still in the processing stage.
"This land will be used to plant various types of horticultural crops, such as corn, which is expected to have a positive impact on both food security and the economy of local residents," said Priyono on Monday (1/6/2025).
Priyono explained that in its implementation, the Pringsewu Sub-regional Police collaborated with the agricultural service and dozens of farmers from farmer groups. This collaboration aims to ensure that the utilization of idle land runs optimally and sustainably.
"In addition to supporting the national food security program, this initiative is also expected to improve the economic welfare of residents through the harvest that will be produced from this land," explained Priyono.
By utilizing previously unproductive idle land, it is hoped that this initiative can be a real example of synergy between security forces and the community in supporting national development.
