Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar invited the public to make the commemoration of Isra Miraj as a preparation to welcome the holy month of Ramadan.

"Let's interpret Isra Miraj as a momentum to get closer and always grateful for the blessings of Allah as we also soon will enter the holy month of Ramadan," said the Minister of Religious Affairs on Friday (1/31/2025).

The Minister of Religious Affairs said that Isra Miraj of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. brought a message about the command to pray. The Isra Miraj event is important to be used as a landing base to welcome Ramadan.

He hopes that the Isra Miraj event will boost the faith of Muslims and strengthen their relation to the teachings of their religion.

"We believe that the closer the people are to the teachings of their religion, the better the quality of the nation and its people," said the Minister Nasarruddin.

According to the Minister of Religious Affairs, the more distant the people are from their teachings, the more social pathologies will emerge. 

"Hopefully this Isra Miraj will further strengthen the teachings of religion with its adherents," he concluded.
