Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang.  Police have named a suspect in the recent fan clash during the Indonesian Liga 1 match between PSIS Semarang and PSS Sleman at the Jatidiri Stadium on 3 December 2023. In a press conference held at the Semarang Sub-regional Police Headquarters on Wednesday (13/12/2023), the suspect was identified as AN (20), a resident of Peterongan, Semarang. He was arrested after he was caught damaging buses belonging to PSS Sleman supporters parked outside the stadium. According to Deputy Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Semarang l Police, Assistant Superintendent Aris Munandar, the suspect's actions were recorded by CCTV as he participated in damaging the buses parked on Sisingamangaraja Street, antaranws.com reported. He explained that the suspect used a bamboo object to damage the buses carrying PSS Sleman supporters. The suspect is charged under Article 170 of the Criminal Code relating to vandalism. Deputy Chief Aris added that around 30 people were involved in damaging five buses carrying PSS Sleman supporters.
