Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) Airport Class I Special Immigration Office (TPI) in Tangerang, Banten, heightens surveillance during the Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024 holiday return peak. "This vulnerable period demands anticipation for potential immigration violations," stated Subeki Miuldi, Head of Soetta Airport TPI, on Monday (1/1/24). He added that during heightened surveillance from December 15, 2023, to January 7, 2024, all TPI members are on alert. Soetta Airport's TPI also directed officers to aid autogate crossings and manage queues. "Direct passport checks for the first Indonesian citizens (WNI) entering Indonesia in 2024," he said. Earlier, Soetta Airport TPI recorded 13,257,357 crossings from January 1 to December 20, 2023, showing a 78% increase from 2022. "We are confident as New Year 2024 approaches, ready to deliver improved services," he concluded. (ar/inp/pr/nm)
