Social Affairs Minister Syaifullah Yusuf confirmed that the Sekolah Rakyat program remains on track despite several teachers and students withdrawing from the program.
Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf stated that parents play a crucial role in the success of the Sekolah Rakyat (SR) program, which aims to provide access to free, quality education and break the cycle of poverty in Indonesia.
Coordinating Minister of Community Development Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar ensures that the students of People’s School are those who are coming from low-income families.
Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf stated that the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) for People’s Schools could last 15 days.
Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf, often called Gus Ipul, stated that the People’s School curriculum will follow national formal standards. However, there will be a special addition, namely character education, in the People’s School curriculum.
