Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Chosen as the host for the 10th World Water Forum, the Indonesian government sees the opportunity as the stage to demonstrate its commitment in the water sector.

Through the biggest international water forum, Indonesia could be the role model for other states for its success in managing water.

“Indonesia will also show various projects in the 10th World Water Forum. We hoped that from this meeting, there would be more cooperation and agreements,” said the Vice Secretary of the 10th World Water Forum National Committee, Endra S. Atmawidjaja on Friday (4/25/2024).

Moreover, the international event also became the momentum for the Sustainable Development Goals for clean water and proper sanitation acceleration. Various stakeholders around the world will collaborate and contribute in finding solutions for global water issues .

The Special Staff of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Water Resources Firdaus Ali adds that the forum became the biggest meeting in history post-Covid-19, with Indonesia as its host.

“The 10th World Water Forum in Bali is the monumental meeting for the transformation of policies, spirit, and our fire towards the future. Making the water as our life resource and peace, not the other way around,” said Firdaus.
