Semarang - Police personnel from the Police Mobile Brigade of the Republic of Indonesia Police and the Semarang City Police Resort are on guard at the Pharmacy Warehouse belonging to the Central Java Health Service. This is because 62,560 doses of the vaccine arrived in Semarang on Monday (04/01/2021). Central Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General of Police Ahmad Lutfhi said tens of thousands of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine arrived from Jakarta under tight escort from the Indonesian Police Mobile Brigade, equipped with two armored cars. His ranks were then given the task of securing and maintaining the pharmacy warehouse as a vital object. According to him, the existence of the COVID-19 vaccine is very valuable because it relates to the safety of human life. Every day the ranks of the Central Java Regional Police, namely members of the Ngaliyan Sector Police, assisted by the Central Java Regional Police Mobile Brigade personnel take turns securing the pharmacy warehouse. “In one box there are 32 cartons. The total number of vaccines we receive is 62,560 doses, "said the Central Java Regional Police. After arriving in Semarang under close guard, vaccines were then handed over from the Bio Farma Distribution Team to representatives of the Central Java Provincial Government Health Office Taukhid totaling 31.9 coli. The amount per coli is 1,960 vaccines so that the total is 62,560 vaccines. The Central Java Regional Police emphasized that the Indonesian National Police is ready to secure the distribution of the Covid vaccine to the public. "Our personnel as well as the Indonesian National Army are ready to secure the distribution of vaccines to the public," said Lutfi. Previously, Governor Ganjar Pranowo stated that it was targeted that 21.2 million Central Java residents would receive the COVID-19 vaccine. As an initial stage, health and support personnel will receive the vaccination program. According to Ganjar, the most important thing now is that the community continues to implement health protocols in addition to waiting for the vaccination program schedule. Namely, always wear a mask, keep your distance and wash your hands with soap. "Vaccines have been prepared. We have prepared human resources and equipment and who will do the tests. But remember, we only use the existing vaccines. Yes this mask. Because we don't just depend on vaccines, ”said Ganjar. The number of vaccines available is still limited, so people must continue to raise awareness.
