inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The police confirmed that a tourist died during the Mas Mountain Agrotourism in Puncak Bogor, Sunday (9/16/2024). The tourist was named Nimih (56) from Cipayung, East Jakarta.

Bogor Police Traffic Unit Head Police Senior Inspector Rizky Guntama said that the victim is suspected of dying due to exhaustion. He also denied that the victim died because he was stuck in traffic in the Puncak area, Bogor.

"It was not because of the traffic jam. At the time the traffic jam occurred, the person concerned was still on vacation in Mas Mountain," Rizky explained when contacted by reporters, Monday (16/9/24)

According to him, the incident began when the victim was on a vacation at Mas Mountain Agrotourism and when he was about to return to the vehicle he felt dizzy and short of breath. After that, the victim was evacuated to the nearest mosque where he passed away shortly after.
