Senior Superintendent Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, the Head of Public Relations for the Papua Regional Police, noted that several regions in Papua and the Papua Mountains have already completed their provincial-level plenary sessions. He stressed the need for the prompt completion of these sessions in both provinces to maintain momentum and adhere to the predetermined schedule. "We are committed to ensuring the smooth and secure progress of the 2024 election stages," he said. "Our security personnel remain vigilant and ready to respond to any situation until the entire process is completed." Chief Benny called upon all members of society to support each stage of the plenary sessions, fostering a conducive and peaceful environment. He emphasized the importance of resilience against provocations from irresponsible entities and the collective effort to uphold peace and security in Papua and the newly established autonomous regions.
