Vice President (VP) Ma'ruf Amin, accompanied by his wife, departed from Jakarta's Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base to Semarang's Ahmad Yani Army Air Force Base using the Indonesian Air Force's Presidential Boeing 737-400 aircraft for a working visiton Friday (26/1/2024). Expected to arrive at 3.15 pm, VP Ma'ruf will be welcomed by Acting Governor of Central Java Nana Sudjana and officials. Joined by the Acting Governor and his wife, VP Ma'ruf will inspect Semarang's Regional Hospital, K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro, focusing on Integrated Health Services. On Saturday, using the Presidential VVIP Helicopter, VP Ma'ruf and delegation will depart for the Jolotundo Elementary School 2 Helipad in Lasem, Rembang Regency. In this renowned region, known as "The Cola of Java" and "Little Tiongkok," the entourage will attend the 52nd Commemoration of K.H. Ma’shoem Ahmad and the 101st Anniversary of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) at the Kauman Lasem Islamic Boarding School. VP Ma'ruf will return to the Jolotundo Elementary School 2 Helipad in Lasem and then proceed to Sugondo Gelora Stadium in Pati Regency for a pilgrimage to Mbah Mutamakkin's grave and discussions with scholars at Maslakul Huda Islamic Boarding School in Kajen, Margoyoso. Accompanying VP Ma'ruf on the working visit are the Head of the VP's Secretariat Ahmad Erani Yustika, Deputy for Administration Sapto Harjono Wahjoe Sedjati, VP Special Staff Masduki Baidlowi, Masykuri Abdillah, Robikin Emhas, Zumrotul Mukaffa, and VP's Advisor Farhat Brachma.
