Inp.polri.go.id – Yogyakarta. The people of Yogyakarta reminded to avoid social conflicts amidst the 2024 General Election, says the Yogyakarta Regional Police Chief Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan when attending #DemiIndonesia Wise in Voting event at Ballroom Karaton, Royal Ambarrukmo, Yogyakarta. “As the regional police chief, I stressed there are no social conflicts in Yogyakarta. You are welcome to voice your opinion, however please avoid physical contacts,” said Suwondo on Thursday (1/25/2024). He underscores that in securing the 2024 General Election, Yogyakarta Regional Police prioritized pre-emptive and preventive measures. “We prioritize pre-emptive and preventive measures as the institution along with related institutions continue to mediate with supportive political parties to not use loud exhaust that do not comply with technical specifications. We also have legal measures, however these are among our last resorts,” closed Suwondo. (ad/bg/pr/nm)
