Inp.polri.go.id – Yogyakarta. The Yogyakarta Regional Police Traffic Directorate provides the traffic accident records throughout the 2024 Ketupat Progo Operation on Friday (4/19/2024).

According to the data, there are 193 traffic accidents recorded from April 4th to April 16th, 2024.

“We also recorded there is one fatality and he was a police member who was having a traffic accident at the Ring Road,” said the Traffic Director Senior Superintendent Alfian Nurrizal.

Furthermore, Alfian states there are no significant traffic disturbances other than what he had said earlier.

Moreover, the Yogyakarta Regional Police also revealed that they had successfully suppressed the number of traffic accidents of this year’s Eid Al-Fitr.

“The Cinomati Road, which usually kills travelers or tourists, is now safe,” adds Alfian.

He underscores that the success of smooth Eid is thanks to the contribution of all parties involved.

“And the people who support us during the homecoming season are also extraordinary. We truly appreciate those volunteers in Cinomati Road for their work,” conclude Alfian.
