inp.polri.go.id - Balikpapan. Ahead of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony that will be held in Nusantara Capital City (IKN), the Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps Chief, Inspector General Aan Suhanan reviews personnel and vehicles preparation.

“After a thorough examination of the Escort Route and Parking Security Task Force, in general we are ready to secure and support the 79th Indonesian Independence Day,” says Inspector General Aan Suhanan.

A total of 898 personnel will be dispatched to the task force to secure and maintain security during the event.

Aan also highlights the importance of preparing security vehicles. According to him, all vehicles, be it two or four-wheeled vehicles, have been checked to ensure that all are prepared for the upcoming important day.

“There are 87 four-wheeled vehicles and 32 two-wheeled vehicles that are ready. They were even used for today’s activities,” said Aan on Saturday (8/10/2024).

Furthermore, Aan also underscores that the task force has conducted various simulations to guarantee the event goes smoothly.

“We have executed various simulations several times now, both for escorts and route security. Some time ago, we performed exercises so that we will be fully prepared on the upcoming important day,” continued Aan.

In his closing statement, Aan hopes that good preparation and strong commitment from his party would support the event to go smoothly and securely.
